Okay, so tonight I was surfing around and found out that the "New Kids on the Block" aka "NKOTB" are getting back together April 4th for the Today show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of "Hangin' Tough". Oh that's right ladies...lol. One of my childhood and best friends in the world, Valerie, and I were on-site at their concert in the early 90's, screaming our heads off like innocent, hormone-driven teenagers. I was OBSESSED with Joey McIntyre and she, with Jordan Knight. Her poor college-aged sister at the time, Angela, took the two of us to see their concert and we still laugh today about all of the BIG hair and aqua-net in that place. Oh, God bless the late 80's early 90's. For all of you former and still NKOTB fans...here you go! For all of you guys out there rolling your eyes, lol, yes we may have been losers back in the day, but you were just jealous at the age of 13 that we loved them so much! haha, I'm so excited they are gonna come back and sing. Can you see Donnie with his receeding hairline singing again? That's so ridiculous, but I'm totally watching lol.
oh.my.word. THAT brings back memories. I should show it to my girls and see what they say! Some things should never have "anniversary celebrations" but I'm right there with you - totally wouldn't miss it for the sake of a good laugh. And a little reminiscing :)

Oh man, who WASN'T obsessed with them?! 20 years later tho... that song really was pretty bad looking back. Although, now I'm stuck with it in my head for the rest of the day, thanks Courtney!
